When the BBC, Reuters, AP, AFP slept and Al Jazeera was half-asleep

Pope Francis lashed out on Sunday against what His Holiness termed 'commercial war to sell arms', leading mass prayers in Saint Peter's Square. The Pope was referring to Barack Obama's 'need' to attack Syria.  Now when the Pope speaks, the world's media listens. Indeed, the Pope was speaking before an unprecedented crowd.  Guess who was sleeping?  Well, the BBC, Reuters and other big name news agencies didn't pick up the story. Al Jazeera mentioned it in passing.  That's 'Free Media" or 'Kept Media'?  Censorship or self-censorship?
