‘A-B-C’ is shorthand for elementary steps of any kind, not just the English language or indeed any language at all. The A-B-C of all things can arrive in many ways and those who’ve learned the relevant subject alphabets would know. I can speak about language or, more specifically, reading.
There were lots of comics from the USA which, looking back, was all propaganda that tried to make us believe that it was ‘America’ and America alone that defeated Hitler or that white people brought civilisation to the land that’s now called the United States of America. There were love stories too, I remember.
